EDUC@ATIONAL DYNAMICS Partnership is an accredited Language and Teacher Education Centre situated in Hermoupolis, the capital city of the island of Syros and of the Cyclades Islands in the South Aegean, Greece. It runs courses in English, Italian, German and Spanish for all ages and operates throughout the year; winter courses are from September until May/June and summer courses from June until September.
E.D. is a Cambridge Examination Preparation Centre and has a broad network of collaborations for its academic purposes:
a) It collaborates with universities in the UK, the Netherlands, Germany, Italy, Spain, Sweden and the USA;
b) It networks with several organisations and academic institutions across Europe in multi-lateral EU Projects;
c) It participates in educational pilot EU Projects as active partner;
d) It is member of the QLS Network – Quality School Services;
e) It is registered with UCAS and undertakes procedures to register students to universities in the UK for undergraduate and/or postgraduate studies;
f) E.D. has long experience in designing e-learning educational tools, teaching methodologies based on interactive communication and innovative vocational training methodologies.
g) E.D. has been awarded several times by the Panhellenic Federation of Language Centres, the Municipality of Hermoupolis and the Prefecture of the Cyclades for its cultural and educational contribution.
It is run by Eugenia Papaioannou and Christine Kanellopoulou-Kyriakopoulou.
EDUC@TIONAL DYNAMICS (EL), founded in 1984 and accredited by the Ministry of Education, is a Language and Teacher Education Centre situated in Hermoupolis, on the island of Syros, Greece.
LANGUAGE COURSES: E.D. uses new technologies and runs courses in English, Italian, German and Spanish. It operates throughout the year offering full-time courses to children, adults and professionals leading to international certifications according to CEFR and EQF. It also offers CLIL specialised courses: Banking and Finance; Medicine; Business Skills; Civil Law; Economics; Tourism; Commerce; Bunkering Station Management; History of Art; English Literature.
TEACHER EDUCATION CENTRE: E.D. has established a TEC which is approved by Hellenic American College (H.A.E.C.) to implement the programmes ADVANCED DIPLOMA IN TESOL addressing teachers, which has been accredited by the Commission on English Language Programme Accreditation (CEA), and is recognised by the U.S. Secretary of Education as an accrediting agency for English language programmes and institutions.
CAREER CONSULTANCY & MENTORING: the E.D. offers career consultancy and mentoring to the teachers it trains in its Teacher Education Centre.
NETWORK: E.D. collaborates with universities in the UK, the USA, Italy, Germany, and Spain for its students’ international examinations leading to international certificates according to ECFR.
EU PROJECTS: Since 1997, E.D. has collaborated as subcontractor in LdV/Grundtvig/ Socrates 2, EQUAL projects, and has participated as transnational partner in multi-lateral partnerships in LdV, Grundtvig and ERASMUS+ EU pilot projects.
UCAS: E.D. is registered with UCAS (Code 48617) and undertakes the procedures for registering students to undergraduate or postgraduate studies in UK universities. It also prepares students for entry to universities for undergraduate or postgraduate studies elsewhere in the European Union (Germany; the Netherlands; Sweden; Spain; Italy).
INNOVATION: E.D. has long experience in designing e-learning educational tools, teaching methodologies based on interactive communication and innovative vocational training methodologies. The E.D. teaching methodology, DynamicLearn is an innovative teaching approach based on quality teaching services.
AWARDS: E.D. and the head of studies, Dr. Eugenia Papaioannou, have been awarded by the Panhellenic Federation of Language Centres, the Municipality of Hermoupolis and the Prefecture of the Cyclades for its cultural and educational contribution.
QLS Network: E.D. is member of the QLS Network (Quality in Language Services).
